My daughter was studying French at Dorothy Stringer school and following the ‘Fast Track’ option which meant she was due to take GCSE French at the end of Year 9 (2 years early).  We felt that she would really benefit from some additional French lessons and so she started weekly one hour tuition classes with Suzy. The lessons were in the comfort of Suzy’s home, adapted to our daughter’s learning needs and helped give her confidence, particularly in spoken French as she had been quite shy about speaking.  Suzy is a highly experienced teacher and knowledgeable about the GCSE curriculum demands . My daughter was doing okay in her French GCSE classes, however it is not easy to learn a language solely in groups of 30+ a couple of times per week.Having one-to-one sessions with Suzy made a positive difference to all aspects of the learning process.
